Press To Talk (PTT) or “PRESSEL” switch is usually mounted on one side of the microphone or in the middle of the handgrip of a telephone style handset. To operate correctly, you have to press it in order to switch the radio from receive mode to transmit mode and release it in order to revert to receive mode.
