SRC-IT: Canali VHF

La banda delle frequenze maritime per le radiocomunicazioni VHF, che si estende tra I 156 e I 174 MHz, contiene 57 VHF CH (canali) individuali numerate consecutivamente da VHF CH1 a VHF CH 28 e da VHF CH60 a VHF CH 88. Le frequenze individuali di ogni canale e se operano in modalità SIMPLEX o DUPLEX (spiegate nei capitoli successivi) sono state stabilite da un accordo internazionale. Esistono delle eccezioni, che sono state stabilite ad esempio dagli USA, dove alcuni canali sono DUPLEX per lo schema internazionale mentre risultano SIMPLEX nella versione US. Di conseguenza le radio VHF marittime posseggono una speciale funzione US/USA che abilita trasferimenti appropriati ai canali corretti quando lavorano lungo le coste degli Stati Uniti.
