All NAVTEX receivers require some form of illumination for the display and controls if they are to be operated in different light levels, that is day/night. This is obtained by the dedicated button or through the setup.

Display contrast and brightness may be adjusted through
Setup Mode -> General View -> LCD Page
but the function is not supported by the simulator.
